Back to back Class II fillings simplified

One of dentistry’s most tedious, technique-sensitive procedures finally has a solution

Three Sizes.
One Simplified Workflow.

Key Benefits

  • Easy 3 in 1
Two matrix bands + One Wedge = One biband
  • Cut Procedure Time By 40%
Faster and easier than the traditional sectional matrices
  • Higher $$ Production
Focus on higher value procedures with quicker patient turnover
  • Enhanced Precision
A more stable fit with less shifting components

biband workflow

Step 1
Angle and Slide in
Hold biband at steep angle using forceps or hand and slide bands down from the occlusal between the teeth
Step 2
Align and Push in
Align wedge tip in to embrasure space and insert between teeth
Step 3
Adapt Biband
Fully adapt biband and ensure arms are flush against teeth
Step 4
Detach bands from tip
Detach bands from wedge at the tip on both sides using detachment instrument
Step 5
Separate and Open bands
Separate bands from each other using the instrument. Open the bands in to a diamond shape by pushing the tip of bands in at the fold line and adapt bands to teeth
Step 6
Place Matrix Ring
Arrange matrix ring inside the open diamond shape
Step 7
Pull bands taught
If needed, pull bands taught to seal prep margins, by placing the instrument between bands and pull at fold line
Step 8
Restore
For one band thickness, restore first tooth, then remove associated band by detaching it from wedge arm
Optional
Optional band removal
Pull band out from occlusal. May hold matrix ring down with simultaneous digital pressure
Optional 2
Pull band taught
Pull band taught to ensure adaptation to proximal box margins
Step 9
Detach and Remove band
Detach bands from wedge at the wedge arms and remove matrix bands from occlusal
Step 10
Remove Wedge
And thats all...
